A thought
I've been involved in the sewing industry for nearly thirty years now. Wow. That went fast! This path has been rewarding and I would not change a thing. Along the way I have met memorable people many of whom have made me the person I am today. There are those who are no longer with us- they live on in my memory. I think of them often. Madame Parenteau- my very first customer- the first person I took care of without supervision. The absolute beginning of my apprenticeship. She was such a warm beautiful and thankfully patient woman who introduced me to the world of sewing. Before I met her I was learning about the mechanical aspect of the industry and hadn't even considered interacting with customers. When I met her I was in my twenties while she was in her seventies. I did not have the experience to realize how terrific she was then but I sure do now.
